TRUMPS 187 MINUTES OF SILENCE
President, with the key to peace
Would take no action to release
In silence, no plea to recall
His insurrection army, all
More than three hours were on the clock
He watched the horror without shock
While cheering for the motley crowd
Proud Boys incited and allowed
Oath Keepers were amidst the swarm
With violence while imposing harm
Fought against Capitol police
Crushing, tasing, anger increased
Flagpoles, batons and other arms
Duty-bound, should raise an alarm
Instead pondered his position
Hoped to get his win, transition
Trump's branded effort, "Stop the Steal"
Manipulate supporters’ zeal
Made the BIG LIE patriotic
For the many, idiotic
Scheme of stealing the election
Overturn voters’ rejection
Rising to power once more this time
Lead the country entire lifetime
Warnings that he would not concede
Unimagined, these dirty deeds
Last chapter was a show of force
With hope to overpower, change course
Break democracy with this blow
Power once again on him bestow
Faint hearted in his nerve to lose
Can only this strong truth conclude
Behavior, “indefensible”*
Betrayed Oath without principle
No Call?, Nothing? Zero?* Ogre
Wouldn’t call ELECTION OVER

was used by Liz Cheney, Vice Chair of the JAN/6 Committee at the conclusion of the JAN/6 8th report
*THESE were the words of General Mark A. Milley
in his deposition, asking why Trump never called the Pentagon to ask for defense of the Capitol
