FOR OUR COUNTRY
Trump simply cannot understand
The love of country by that man*
To Trump, selflessness seems insane
With HIS big psychopathic brain
Has that monster now lost his grip?
Attention-getting seems to slip
His headlines ALWAYS in the news
New drip-drip-drip seems to confuse
Possibly we’re just sick of him
His haystack coif and sh*itty grin
All his whining … ALL his troubles
Meanness and his MAGA bubbles
Played out for months and years galore
His antics, speeches are a bore
His vision for the country … DARK
Kamala Harris … has great spark
Trump … OLD man now … has no sparkle
And we’re sick of patriarchal
Head-spinning was Trump’s fall from grace
Out of the spotlight … where’s that face?
Hoping it stays where it belongs
Amongst contenders … in a throng
His little knick upon the ear
Got lots of press … engendered fear
Of interest … when the press revealed
Young Republican shot to kill
Making one think … not once, but twice
Election now … roll of the dice
Ask any person on the street
Democrats ride on fresh hot streak
Millions mounting toward election
Trump may soon find his rejection
Selfless … was Biden’s decision
Patriotic ... TIMED … precision
Big hearted one who just stepped down
Joe Biden made that big clown frown
Trump …that wanna-be dictator
RULE for LIFE … as desecrator
Never forget … Trump’s pack of LIES
KNOWN … “Everything Trump Touches DIES”**
INSPIRATION: NYTimes article entitled:
Trump and His Allies Adapt to a New Role: Fighting for Attention.
In the days since President Biden ended his re-election bid
and passed the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris,
Donald Trump’s campaign has been crowded out of the headlines.
By Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, July 25, 2024.
*That man = President Joseph R. Biden, a true selfless patriot who stepped aside to protect our Democracy as opposed to Donald J. Trump:, narcissist, felon, conman and liar … declared #45 in a list of ALL American presidents, the worst ever, now running a second term.
** Everything Trump Touches Dies” Title of a book by Rick. Wilson, available as an Audible Audiobook.
Quote from the below captioned article: “Mr. Trump was furious about the switch. He complained it was unfair that Democrats were forcing him to start over with a new opponent after he had spent all that time and money fighting Mr. Biden. His team considered mounting legal challenges to her campaign committee to make it harder for Ms. Harris to hit the ground running.”
